No-entry silo cleaning for blocked industrial silos.
Restore material flow fast – without confined space entry, across Norway, Nordics and Europe.
Blocked silo? Unsafe cleaning conditions? Rising downtime risk?
Silo blockages can stop production within hours and lead to significant downtime costs if not resolved quickly.
Production downtime from blockages
Build-ups and blockages stop flow and halt production.
Unsafe manual entry and cleaning
Confined space entry poses serious risks to personnel.
ATEX and fire exposure
Dust, gas and heat create explosion and fire hazards.
Product loss and unstable flow
Material loss, inconsistent flow and reduced storage capacity.
A controlled no-entry method for restoring silo flow
No-entry silo cleaning is a method used to restore flow without sending personnel into confined spaces. Bluepower uses BinDrill, BinWhip and, where relevant, Cardox to create access, loosen compacted material and restore flow without confined-space entry.
ACCESS
Create access into the compacted material without entry.
CLEANING
Loosen and remove build-ups using controlled no-entry cleaning technology.
FLOW RESTORATION
Restore stable material flow and full discharge performance.
What you gain with Bluepower
Restore material flow quickly
Stable flow and full discharge performance.
Reduce downtime during critical events
Faster recovery and less production loss.
Eliminate confined-space entry risk
No confined-space entry. Lower HSE risk.
Ensure documented and controlled execution
Full documentation for compliance and audits.
Proven no-entry technology
Used to create flow channels and loosen compacted material without entry.

Atmosphere O₂ Control
Suppresses silo fires by reducing oxygen levels — preventing ignition and protecting both material and structure.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you need people to enter the silo?
No. All our methods are non-entry. We use remotely operated BinWhip, BinDrill and Cardox systems to restore flow and remove blockages, no one enters the silo at any point.
When is Cardox used?
Cardox is used for particularly stubborn blockages where mechanical tools alone aren't sufficient. It uses controlled CO₂ expansion to safely dislodge hardened material — without flame, spark or shockwave.
Do you operate outside Norway?
Yes. We have documented operations across Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, France, Belgium, Italy, Croatia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Serbia, Lithuania, Azerbaijan, Greece, Spain, Saudi Arabia and Thailand with a clear focus on European industry.
Is the method suitable for ATEX environments?
Yes, ATEX is sufficient. Specific certification details can be shared on request, based on your operational needs.
What is no-entry silo cleaning?
A method of cleaning silos without sending personnel inside, using external or remotely operated equipment.
What causes silo blockages?
Silo blockages are typically caused by material bridging, rat-holing, and moisture that leads to compaction or sticking.
How long does silo cleaning take?
The duration depends on the specific case, but most silo cleaning projects take anywhere from a few hours to days or weeks.
Is silo cleaning safe in ATEX zones?
Yes, silo cleaning can be safe in ATEX-zones when using the correct certified equipment and procedures.
What is a silo blockage?
A silo blockage occurs when bulk material stops flowing inside the silo. This is usually caused by compaction, moisture, or structural issues, and can lead to production downtime and safety risks.
What causes silo blockages?
Silo blockages are typically caused by moisture, material compaction, poor flow design, or the formation of bridges and ratholes inside the silo.
What are the signs of silo problems?
Common signs include reduced or inconsistent material flow, unexpected shutdowns, uneven discharge, and visible build-up inside the silo.
